Imprisoned
This is an extract from a short story, Imprisoned. Thomas is married to Anita and they have a great life. They go to the David Lloyd club and enjoy exercising until it feels like they are sweating blood. They travel to exotic countries and eat at fancy restaurants. One day it all goes horribly wrong. They are involved in a car accident and they survive, but Anita suffers severe brain damage and can no longer function as a normal human being. She can't help herself, doesn't know who Thomas is and he becomes a prisoner of his circumstances. He can't bear to live like this and decides that he will kill her and kill himself, but something stops him from committing murder and he must decide if he can break free from the prison in his mind or come back to the same point that their lives must end.
Romance
Louisa is a VP of Marketing, living in Sloane Square and has everything in life with the exception of love. She is in Barbados, alone, enjoying the beautiful sea, sand and blue sky and the slow pace of life mixed with the Reggae beat of Bob Marley that booms across the Sandals Hotel. She reminisces when she once found love with Mark, but her arrogance drove him away and she suffered the embarrassment of him calling off the engagement. She walks towards the sea, breathing in the sunset only to return to her deckchair and realise that her handbag has been stolen. With fury running through her veins she marches to the hotel demanding that the police are called, only to be given a note that tells her how her handbag can be returned.
Silencing the Raging Thunder
This is an extract from a novel called Silencing the Raging Thunder. Sofia is 30 years old, loving her life of fun, smoking marijuana and her three year romance with Carl, a married man. She knows that it's wrong to be in the affair but try as she might she can't end it, even though she knows nothing good will ever come of it. One day she wakes up in the morning and she can't feel her body. The sensation in her feet and hands have gone. She screams at her cats Terri and Morris for help, but they can only meow and after much cajoling from her work colleagues she goes to see a specialist and he confirms that she has Multiple Sclerosis, an incurable degenerative disease
Faded Flower
John is a man of two shades: Unbeknown to Angela he is romantically involved with Lisa who he’s been having an affair with
for three years. Angela is pregnant and she calls him because it’s time for her to go to the hospital. John is in bed with Lisa as
part of their normal Friday rendezvous and hears his phone beeping. It becomes a frantic rush to get home and take Angela to
the hospital. Reaching his house he gets Angela in the car and takes her to the hospital only to walk through the entrance with
porters and hear a voice. It’s a familiar voice and as he turns, Lisa is standing at the door.
Nigger
This is a novel about David set in the 1960's who is on a mission in the small seaside town of Skegness with his friends, Ray, Angela and Elaine. He has a mission to change the world and bring a message of hope to all those who feel lost. Unbeknown to David, he has chosen the same day as a National Front March and encounters one hundred skinheads who when they see him, they scream profanities and David and his friends have to be escorted to safety. He thinks that he is safe, but it's only when he hears the thudding of Doc Marten boots on the pavement, he runs for his life with Elaine and Angela. He realises that Ray isn't with them and goes back screaming, "Ray,." Panic fires through his body when police sirens break through the afternoon sun and he is brought back to Mercy Way, to find that Ray has been murdered.
Cauldron of Fire
In the sequel to Silencing the Raging Thunder, Sofia grits her teeth to completely overcome the demon living inside of her who has deteriorated her body and it's a long road to recovery that each time she takes a step the door is slammed shut in her face. The disease with its many sides creates a new challenge, Kidney Disease and it's confirmed that she needs a kidney Transplant. Her father wants to be a donor, but following the tests to confirm his suitability, his DNA isn't a match to Sofia's. All eyes fall on Anna, her mother who jumps up, shaking and runs out of the room leaving Sofia in a valley of confusion and staring at the man she has called dad all her life with question marks if he is her real father.

He works hard, but the undercurrent of the Bank is one of corruption and the exploitation of customers who have no idea that they are buying life insurance policies, termed blooming daffodils as part of their loans. Steven's moral compass is challenged but he succumbs to the limelight and the glamour of getting into the coveted Kings Club. His conscience for doing the right thing is put aside and following his promotion to Bank Manager the lure of selling a big blooming daffodil coerces him to make a decision with devastating consequences. His troubles at the bank are linked to the mystic powers of Obeah, a form of witchcraft from the West Indies and it's those closest to him where the spells and Hex's have been cast, taking him into the paranormal. The twists and turns of Voodoo magic have him on his knees and when he looks at Amari his baby daughter, he knows that if he doesn't break the curse, then it will fall on her and her young life will be over like a puff of a candle that blows out the burning flame.

Robert is on top of the world, having gained a new promotion to Vice President of Sales, EMEA. He's forty-five, looking good, has a beautiful woman called Denise who's a lawyer and he knows she's the woman that he's going to marry. He's looking forward to meeting Sunita, one of his top Sales Executives to make a joint call to a new customer. He meets her at the hotel before the client visit and notices that her behaviour is strange when she pushes her body right next to his. The day of light turns to poison when before he can leave her car after securing the new business, she kisses him and he can't resist, but responds without realising that play with fire, and you'll get burned.

It's too late for regret, the door to lust has been opened and he can't close it. He knows it's bad, but the imagination of her naked body won't leave his head. Disloyalty to Denise prongs his mind to confess before it goes out of control, but when he goes to work early to kill the guilt, Sunita is in his office with a present, her naked body.

The steaming sex with Sunita in his office and the men's toilet won't leave his mind. Romance goes up another level when the lights dim in the boardroom and as the President presents, she strokes her foot against his leg and feels his penis that becomes hard. He calls her to his office and tells her to stop and that it must end, but she responds by telling him that when she commits, she really commits. That commitment becomes more real when they plan to meet at her house to end the affair on good terms and she cancels, but little does he know what she's planning. His heart rate soars when he arrives home and Sunita is in the living room, talking to Denise.
Poison Ivy - Part Four
Robert is trapped by his own deceit. His fury at Sunita for arriving at his house brings a realisation that she's not a woman who will accept no for an answer. At the dinner table, his head pangs with fear when Denise asks him, 'do you think that Sunita is pretty,' He gives a diplomatic answer and after dinner, Denise tempts him by going upstairs and coming back down naked. She gives him oral sex but it's the text message from Sunita that said, 'I know where you want me to put my lips,' that's in his head. They make love, but it's Sunita's face that he sees in the mirror and when he goes to bed, he shudders, knowing he needs to walk away, but Sunita won't let him. Her claws are in deep and she doesn't want to let him go.
Poison Ivy - Part Five
His decision is made and today is the day when he will end it with Sunita. Her address of Bridge House is saved in the navigation system and he drives to her house, with good intentions that what is bad must stop. Arriving he knocks at the door and when he sees her in the red dress and looks at her long flowing black hair, his resolve weakens. He follows her to the pool house, where a cocktail is already on the table and the Jacuzzi is blowing hot steam and bubbles. He responds to her call to join her in the Jacuzzi and he's back where he started, salivating over her body and having erotic sex with the warm water rippling his bottom cheeks. He gets dressed and arrives a few minutes later after Sunita, walking into her kitchen and tottering as he grabs the white kitchen unit. Denise is sitting at the dinner table and looks at the undone tie around his neck, Sunita's unzipped dress and his open fly.
Poison Ivy - Part Six
Everything that he'd worked for is over. Denise refuses to let him back in the house and he arrives at the hotel with a black bag containing his clothes. In his room he can't sleep. Regret and remorse is too late when he wishes that he never kissed Sunita, but he never considered the consequences and now he has to pay the price for his indiscretion. His phone beeps. It's from his boss and he wants to meet early in the morning. He gets up, goes to the office a nervous wreck and his reward is instant dismissal and only the plant from his office as a token of faithful service. As he leaves the building, Sunita walks in. For her it's a normal day, but he's lost everything because he succumbed, to her one kiss of poison.
